remembering my mother

Tuesday, December 30, 2014

There were two bouquets like this one two Sundays ago at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church—gifts from my father, remembrances of my mother, all white blooms.

I think of her today, her final day, eight years ago. I think of her every day.

Missing you, Mom.

It gets easier but the pain never goes away. We lost my dad 4 years ago yesterday.

Warm hugs on this cold day, and hopes that your memories are some comfort.

What a beautiful tribute to your mom. My mom died 8 years ago this June and I think of her every day too. There is no one like a mother.
