FLOW: The River's Story

I wrote a book about a river — told her story in her own words—and today I'm reading from a page called "Ooze." Many of the images here are here because of the generosity of my dear friend Adam Levine, who yields his knowledge about the river to the many of us who ask.

Even though this clip was about the pollution in a river, it still made me nostalgic for the rivers of my childhood. (Sounds like I'm ancient, huh?) :-)

In FLOW the river seduces and she also heals. But I posted this clip because I wanted to remind people of what we can ruin, if we choose to be careless.
