I love autumn leaves - but I think I might have missed my chance to take photos of them this year.
I so loved yesterday—it began as a metallic gray, and the colors were so alive. Then, about three, the sun broke through, pouring gold down. I ran about, trying to take it all in... Thank you, PJ and Lenore, for stopping to take it in with me.
Ohh, I'm jealous of your fall leaves! Thanks for posting them. :) That's one thing I miss the most about the East Coast. Have you ever driven through the New River Gorge in the fall? It's a magical place with the river and all the colors.
Do you know that the very next day we had another storm, and all the tree leaves near here were lost?
They were there, and now they are no more.
