Meet me at the Philly Book Festival
Saturday, February 27, 2010
I'm going to assume that it will be spring (wouldn't it have to be?) by the time the Philadelphia Book Festival rolls around on April 17th and 18th, so I'm thinking iris colors. I'm also inviting you to come meet me and two fantastic YA writers—Elizabeth Eulberg (The Lonely Hearts Club) and Patrick Carman (Skeleton Creek and Trackers)—on the Sunday, April 18th YA panel. Elizabeth, Patrick, and I will be on an outdoor stage that afternoon, 2 PM. Sun, I'm thinking. A sprinkling of clouds. No rain.

I'm seriously thinking about this....
As it turns out, I will be in PA that weekend, making a trip to Philly on the 18th very possible. (Can't do the 17th.) If any others are interested in going and possibly meeting up afterwards? - I'd be up for such.
Fingers are crossed for good weather for you. In the meantime, I'm planning on a taste of perfumed spring at the flower show. Can. Not. Wait.
Where exactly is the festival? I am seriously considering this. My in-laws live near Norristown, and I could plan a visit over that weekend.
It'd be so great to meet you!
Oh gosh, how daft of me. The Philadelphia Book Festival is sponsored by the main branch of the Philadelphia Free Library, and will be on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and in the library itself
Hmm, looking at my calendar and wondering if I could get away for a long weekend...
Have fun! :)
Sounds terrific! Enjoy.
