I was a child writer-dreamer who never strayed far from that path. Today I’m the award-winning author of thirteen books—dreaming my way toward more by night, while running a boutique marketing communications firm by day. I'm privileged to teach creative nonfiction at the University of Pennsylvania on chosen semesters. Always and most importantly, I am privileged to be a mom. My fourteenth book, SMALL DAMAGES, is due out in the summer of 2012, and I am at work on a novel about Berlin (for Philomel); DR. RADWAY'S SARSAPARILLA RESOLVENT, an illustrated prequel to DANGEROUS NEIGHBORS; a novel for adults; and a memoir about teaching. All content Copyright 2007-2011 Beth Kephart Books.

"Readers will eat up this realistic variant of the youthful fantasy about finally finding one's real parents and being properly appreciated." — BCCB To pre-order, or for more reviews, click on the cover.

To read Kephart is to splendidly dream with both eyes open." — Rita Williams-Garcia "As this delicate and luscious novel unfolds, the lines are blurred between love and loss, past and present, real and magical, and even life and death." — Kathryn Erskine Small Damages is due out from Tamra Tuller and Philomel in the summer of 2012.
