David Bowie, I will miss you.

I danced to you in the basement of my parents' home.
I knew your words.
I shook the hand of your wife, and trembled for days.
You inspired many pages in my Berlin novel, Going Over, with your own Berlin song, "Heroes."
I am sorry that you suffered.
I will miss you.

Me too, Beth. Such a sad day.
I am touched, but not surprised, how many loved this man and his genius. I did, too. He called my nephew (an ardent fan) to the stage at one of concerts...so gracious and gentle, he was...and became his mentor. I am always sad when any of quality leave this world. Soon there may be no one to play with. Angela Muller
And so will I. Thanks, Beth.
