Um ... I think I'll stay with the international cheeses, thanks.
(Cute shop, though!)
I'm not an adventurous eater, so I wouldn't try any of them. Thanks, but no thanks.
Signs like this make me glad I'm a vegetarian. :)
I never knew you could eat kangaroo...
I have tried buffalo, crocodile, and elk. Crocodile tasted like chicken; the other two like beef.
I suppose I would try other meats if they weren't too expensive to be worth it.
Ed's a farm boy - we'll try just about anything. We've had buffalo, and wild boar together. When Ed was in Africa he ate at the "Carnivore Cafe" no joke - and had antelope, ostrich, crocodile and, i think, kangaroo.
Me - I'd try anything once.
I plead vegetarianism.
Definitely not an adventurous eater. I'm probably missing out on some interesting flavors.
I have had quite a bit of these, actually. Buffalo stroganoff in Banff, elk jerky (brother in law is a hunter), ostrich burger ( very lean meat, served at a burger place in Davis, Ca), crocodile (here in Texas-very much a southern thing). Okay- that is all. :)
People eat kangaroos? But they're so cute!
My daughter tried crocodile last month. She's a total carnivore. I'm a vegetarian.
We eat quite a bit of buffalo. It is leaner then beef. Had elk steak prepared by a hunter's wife who made it pretty tasty. And I've been wanting to try yak - it is in the freezer section of our local food co-op, but the price always interrupts my reach.
